Nikos Nousias was born in Ioannina in 2968 where he lives with his family, who also have two children.

He graduated from the Democritus University of Thrace in 1990 and has an ECDL degree in computers.

Since 1992 he has been teaching traditional dances in cultural clubs of the Prefecture of Ioannina, while from 1998 until today he has been teaching in traditional dance classes of the P.K.D. Ioannina.

He has taught in traditional dance seminars in Ioannina, Katerini, Grevena, Serres and other cities in Greece.

I have worked in primary and secondary education as a substitute teacher.

He has participated as a member in the revival of customs of the wider region with the aim of rescuing them.

For the last nine years, he has been collaborating with the Matsouki Cultural Association in the traditional dance department, and through a collective effort, he tries to highlight the dances, songs and customs of the village.

He collaborates with the Klimatia Cultural Association (Veltsistas), with which he has organized 10 traditional dance festivals.

He has participated in the filming of many television shows, the last of which was on the Greek program “Ellinos Dromena” on the theme of Mariola’s elegy from Veltsista.

He was a dance teacher in the first “Mousika Ktismata” in 2025.
