Biography

She was born in Erkelenz, Germany, originally from Agrinio and Giannitsa. She lives in Arta with her family and two young children.

She is a graduate of the Musical High School and Lyceum of Agrinio, the department of Folk and Traditional Music (formerly the Technical Institute of Music Technology of the University of Ioannina), holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Byzantine Music and has studied vocals, has attended seminars in Music Therapy and European classical music.

She wrote her diploma thesis on the life and work of Pagona Athanasiou.

At the age of 11, she began lessons at the Conservatory and participated in the Agrinio Municipality Philharmonic – playing the saxophone – while at the age of 20 she began her professional career in singing. You participated in festivals, weddings and concerts throughout Greece.

She participated in a band led by Kostas Tzimas, formed her own band and in concerts for Amalia Vaka and the concert of the International Center of Epirus Music “Six Women Sing Epirus” at the EHM Theater in Ioannina.

Since 2024 she has been teaching folk singing vocals at the Department of Music Studies of the University of Ioannina.

She has collaborated with a multitude of well-known younger and older artists of the musical tradition and has participated in dozens of concerts in Greece and abroad.
