He was born in Athens to parents from Ioannina. His first contact with the traditional clarinet began at the age of ten.

He studied with musicians such as V. Chaligiannis, G. Brachopoulos, S. Kapsalis. From a young age he worked in music clubs in Athens and collaborated with notable musicians-singers of the traditional style and beyond (Kitsakis-Pagonas-Pyrgakis-Tzimas-Kyritsis-Konstantinou, etc.).

He has participated in several record creations and in social and political events around the world and among Greeks abroad. Since 2004 he has lived and worked in Ioannina, transmitting the art he knows through lessons in conservatories.

He was a clarinet teacher at the first “Mousika Ktismata” in 2025
