In this year’s “Mousika Ktismata” the focus is on music from Pogoni, at the same time attempting to “zoom out” towards the wider area of the region of Epirus, of Greece but of the international music environment. Through this exploration we intent to establish a dialogue between “us” and the “others”.
Technical issues and theoretical issues, such as the musical exercises of the guilds from Pogoni, the “conversions”, the pentagram and the theories of  “makam”, “katem”, the  rythmic structures from Epirus and the pentatonic scales.
At the same time, an attempt is made to pay tribute, in a modern way approach, to the first masters of tradition.
The program will be accompanied by organized material that will be delivered including partitions, recordings, photographic material, texts and visual and acoustic recordings.
